Antonio explained how his father started the company in the early part of the 20th century and how it really was a family business. His father told all three of his boys that they could either join the family business or he would put them through college. One son went off to school and the other two boys joined Americano and made it their life’s work. He talked about how when he was young he would come in on Saturdays and they would shred the mozzarella and put it into bags. He said his father was the first company in America that sold the cheese shredded to restaurants. They would get more money if they sold the cheese already shredded. So the same block of cheese could get twice the revenue sold in this way. He also told me how his brother was killed by other Italians in the industry because he took an interview with a reporter about the business to a prominent newspaper in New York. After his brother’s interview was published, he was dead within two weeks.

Hey, good morning. You talked about some of the dynamics around the transition to the spring selling season. With the later spring last year, is there anything that gives you confidence this year, from either a weather to-date or product perspective? And just given the calendar shift, you gave some helpful color, but curious whether you anticipate the Q1 comp to be above or below the full-year comp growth, just given the full shift.

Abstract: A method for establishing end-to-end tunnels extending across multiple domains using a network element. The method includes receiving a request from a customer controller to implement a virtual network (VN) created by the customer controller, wherein the VN identifies the end-to-end tunnels extending across the multiple domains, mapping the VN to available resources based on network constraints in response to the request, and transmitting, after the VN has been mapped, a message to a network controller managing one of the domains that includes a network path used to form a portion of one of the end-to-end tunnels, wherein the message includes an association object having a Type-Length-Value (TLV) field containing a virtual network identifier binding the network path to the VN.

In much of the wet northwest, I believe that the environmental effects of the energy expended in building a rain water collection system exceeds the small environmental benefit, especially if you live on a level lot with soil that drains well enough that runoff rarely occurs (as I do) with a gravity fed municipal system that needs minimal treatment(Portland). As climate and soil types change, and the amount of energy used to obtain water increased, the balance does shift.

The isolated region contains an isolated component. The isolated region of the integrated circuit may be a region of the substrate, and/or a region of the interconnect region. The isolated region may be a first portion of the substrate which is laterally separated from a second portion of the substrate. The isolated region may be a portion of the interconnect region above the isolation structure.

You can see in the stability area, which is where we think we are trending, our models suggest it’s GDP plus 1% to 2%. We conservatively said GDP plus 1%. So, if you use a 2.6% GDP and you add 100 basis points to that, you get to 3.6% and we rounded up a bit to 4%. And then as you heard from Craig, we added a point relative to our strategic investments. There are lots of forces and economic prognoses that you can use and one thing that we use to kind of support our point of view is what the Harvard Joint Center says for remodeling activity. And their forecast for remodeling activity in 2019 is 5% growth.

For the year, we project cash flow from the business of roughly $14 billion. We will invest $2.7 billion of this cash back into the business in support of our strategic initiative. We also plan to use this cash to pay $6 billion of dividends. As Craig mentioned, we just announced a 32% increase in our quarterly dividend, which equates to an annual dividend of $5.44, in line with our targeted dividend ratio of 55% of earnings. Finally, we plan to repurchase $5 billion of outstanding shares using excess cash.

As these ideas take hold and spread through planning, design, financing and construction industries, the goal is to prevent another blight epidemic like the one we see today in Detroit.
