How often should a homeowner replace their roof or have it inspected? Many factors contribute to when replacement of a homeowner’s roof is required. These include excessive wear and tear or granular loss, storm-related damage from hail or wind, multiple leaks, [and]improper installation by a previous roofing contractor. [The roof should be replaced if] repair isn’t a valid option. An asphalt shingle roof, especially one that’s over 10 years [old], should be inspected annually and have a preventative maintenance performed to help extend its lifespan if no storm-related damage is present. All asphalt shingled roofs should be inspected after a hurricane with high winds or after a hail storm. These storm-related events can shorten the overall lifespan of a roof and eventually allow water intrusion.

Abstract: A method for applying coating material to a moving substrate such as a glass mat web in shingle manufacturing includes conveying the web through a narrow channel and ejecting at least one coating material onto at least one surface of the web as it is conveyed through the channel. In a preferred embodiment, multiple coating materials may be applied to one surface of the web and multiple coating materials may be applied to the other surface of the web. The coating materials may be molten asphalt or other coating materials. The pressure of the coating material is controlled as a function of the line speed of the moving substrate to ensure consistently thick coatings at various speeds, including relatively high speeds, of the web. An apparatus in the form of a slot die is disclosed for carrying out the method of the invention.

So, I wasn’t going to just sit in this truck in silence for hours on end until we got to Ft. Myers which was over three-hundred miles away. I started asking him more about what other beliefs he held. They keep screaming that the “science is settled”.  The only way that the science can be settled in LEGITIMATE SCIENCE is the “Scientific Method,” which states that first, you come up with a theory.  Then you devise a scientific theory that proves your theory beyond any doubt. It has to have the same results from any scientist anywhere in the world conducting the same experiment for the science to be settled.  In spite of BILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF GOVERNMENT FUNDED RESEARCH, THERE ARE ZERO EXPERIMENTS PROVING CO2 CAUSED GLOBAL WARMING.
